Outdoor build of the BOS-B Pro-A3 C&I battery. The 16.08 kWh LFP packs sit in IP55, C4-rated BOS-B80 Pro-A3-Cabinet enclosures, up to four packs per cabinet. Two builds are offered: 128.6 kWh (8 packs, 2 cabinets) with a SUN-29.9K and 192.9 kWh (12 packs, 3 cabinets) with a SUN-50K, both Deye SG01HP3 hybrid inverters at no more than 0.33C. It must never be paired with a standalone PCS.

Highlights
- Outdoor-rated enclosure. The BOS-B80 Pro-A3-Cabinet is IP55 with C4 corrosion resistance, built from white (RAL 9016) SGCC steel, and Deye rates it for open-air installation up to 3000 m.
- Four packs per cabinet. Each cabinet holds up to four 16.08 kWh BOS-B-Pack16-A3 packs. One cabinet also carries the system’s single BOS-B-PDU-2-A at the top. The 128.6 kWh build uses two cabinets and the 192.9 kWh build uses three.
- Hybrid inverter only, at no more than 0.33C. The system pairs with a Deye SG01HP3 three-phase hybrid, sized so that the inverter’s kW is no more than 0.33 times the battery’s nominal kWh.
- No separate accessory kit. The outdoor PDU ships with its power cables, battery cables and 4G antenna. Each cabinet comes with its inter-cabinet power and communication cables, an earth wire and anchor bolts.
- Same BOS-B Pro-A3 battery system as the rack version. LFP chemistry, smart fan cooling and a cycle life of at least 6000 cycles (0.5C/0.5C, 25 °C, 70% EOL).

Deye’s outdoor brochure labels its builds as 4-hour solutions, and the cabinet datasheet calls the cabinet a 3–4 hour recommended solution. See the SG01HP3 29.9–50 kW hybrid for the inverter specifications.
Design rules
- 0.33C maximum. Divide the inverter’s rated power (kW) by the battery’s nominal energy (kWh). The result must not exceed 0.33. For example, a SUN-50K on 128.6 kWh is 0.39C and a SUN-80K on 192.9 kWh is 0.41C, so neither is allowed in these cabinets. The datasheet gives 0.25C charge/discharge as the recommended system operating condition.
- Hybrid inverter only, never a standalone PCS. Do not connect the outdoor cabinet solution to a standalone PCS such as the 100/125 kW PCS + MPPT + STS system. PCS projects use the indoor BOS-B Pro-A3 rack instead.
- Order the outdoor parts. The cabinet version of the pack (part no. 10100203000206) and of the PDU (10100303000210) share their model names with the indoor rack parts. The outdoor pack has no side brackets, and it fits only the outdoor cabinet.
- Siting. Install in open air. Avoid strong corrosive gas, heavy salt spray, severe vibration and flood-prone ground. The recommended ambient temperature is 0–35 °C.
- Handling. Each pack weighs 116 kg. Deye recommends lifting the packs with a forklift; without one, at least four people are needed. Each cabinet stands on mounting feet anchored with M12 × 80 expansion bolts.
